An 18-year-old boy was stabbed to death on Sunday night by a group of men after he stopped at a stand at the main entrance to the Diamond New Housing Scheme, East Bank Demerara to purchase fish and chips.
Dead is 18-year-old Ravildo “Michael” Williams of Lot 37 Friendship, EBD.
According to information received, the incident occurred at about 23:30h. The young man left a wedding reception at Grove, EBD with his family but they stopped to purchase fish and chips from a stand before going home.
As they placed their order, they were approached by a group of men in a bid to rob them and it was this time, the teenager was fatally stabbed after he put up resistance.
